They say that home is where your heart is.
Mine was between pages of books i read,
Between the messages i scrolled,
Between the words i wrote.
Between the musics i listened,
Between the song i sang,
Between the whispering and champagne.

Mine, was among the stars, across the universe.
It was.

Happy birthday, Dan Snow!

Hye 😊

Happy birthday, Dan Targaryen.

Personally, I don’t really know you.
Truthfully, we have never even meet irl.
Honestly, I don’t have the courage to DM you.

Personally, I really really would want to talk to you or just hang out with you.
Truthfully, I love your taste in music.
Honestly, I love your taste in books.

I’m not the kind of girl who would follow people I don’t know on socmeds.
Not the kind of person who would take interest in people I’ve never met.
Not the kind of human who would DM people I know wayyyy over me.

I started following you since your tweet, “sorry girl, I’d rather date bo……oks”
I was amazed. By every book, I was amazed. (yes, I zoomed it in)

Books I have and would read. AND YOU’RE READING IT!
And Music I LISTENED, YOU’RE LISTENING TO IT.

I thought to myself, hey this guy is cool.
Like me HAHAHA (okay narcissist alert)
So I followed you.

And when you followed me back, I was so happy I smiled the whole day (not literally hahahaha).

Since it’s your birthday, I decided to send this to you. An honest letter from one of your followers, and from one of the people you followed.

Happy Birthday, Dan! You’re legal! If you’re in Malaysia, let me know 😊

Excerpt of Childhood
Posted on | COMMENT

When she was a kid, her father would read her stories before going to bed. Her siblings would always pick up the small pink book with bunnies for her dad to read and he would. Not every day, but sometimes. He is the best storyteller.

It always fascinates her how one story, when told, emerged inside her mind. Playing throughout the moment and colours spreading everywhere. Imagination running wild. Every description she can relate with, every angle, every side of a story she can see. Books are magically portable enchantment, she loses herself in books, find herself there too. Abracadabra.

Growing up, she read a lot of storybooks. English, of course. Because the small pink book with bunnies is in English, and she can’t move on. The best story teller tells the best stories, how can she un-love it? Her mum and dad built this one mini library at the hallway of their home, all the way from the living room to the kitchen. Side by side left to right, everything’s book. That mini library that she would explore every now and then. That mini library that contains storybooks to magazines to theses. That mini library was once another world that little girl loves exploring.

Now she can read. A fast reader she is and she saw that small pink book with bunnies lately. She read the title. It was “Primary School  Essays”.

She has something to say to her dad.

    GGWP, dad!

Excerpt of things i would never tell my siblings #1
Posted on Saturday, 27 May 2017 | COMMENT
To have an independent brother is great. Especially the kind of brother who got mad social skills. You learn so much just by watching.

My brother is that kind of a person. He could cope with anyone, any gender, any age, any personality.

He's wild. He smoke but he dont drink. He would go out at night using our backdoors. And i always clean up after his messes and he would do the same. We got each other's back.

He is so naughty, not cheeky. He would skip classes he dont like. He goes to school by car before mom set up rules to only use one car. He pretty much follow his thoughts, arriving late means nothing. He got everything under his control. Everything.

He's in medic field now, in 2 weeks he'll be graduating. It amazes me how he always get high GPA for the past years.

He bought his own car using his own money, yet of course he would pay it monthly to my mom. Its under mom's name. He drive like he own the road, afraid of nothing. Sometimes i found it stupid, most of the time it was amazing. Fast and careful.

He's very thoughtful despite his 'i dont care' attitude. He would make things better for everyone around him. Thats just him. Naughty, cheeky, funny, sarcastic, reliable, thoughtful, wise, smart, wild and most importantly, loving 🌸
